This is the replacement water filter cartridge for the PBS400 drinking water system.

Keep Your System Working Optimally:

This is a very high capacity filter which is filtering all the cold water coming thru your kitchen faucet.  How long it lasts is specific to your home and your consumption.  You have two choices for how often you change the filter.

1. Change it on an annual basis
2. Change it when the flow rate becomes inconveniently slow

All Everpure residential systems and cartridges include a Time strip filter monitor to remind you at 11 months to re-order a replacement cartridge.  With this filter, you may find that isn't relevant as you enjoy much longer filter life. Remember to buy only genuine Everpure replacement cartridges to maintain your warranty. 

NSF Certification:

This drinking water system is third party tested and certified by the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) for Std. 42 & 53. Please refer to the system spec sheet for a detailed listing of NSF certifications. Standard 53 is the most important as it certifies for the removal of parasitic cysts, such as Cryptosporidium, and Lead.  Read more about NSF.

Please note: this cartridge fits into the QL1, QL2, QL3 and QC4 heads. If you have a ProSeries head, please use the ProSeries 1500/2500/3500 cartridges.
