Application: Drinking Water
The EF-3000 is the replacement cartridge for the EF-3000 Drinking water system.
We also have a lower capacity EF-1500 (if you are tight on space) or the higher capacity EF-6000 (if you have lots of space)!
The EF Series of cartridges may look the same as our other drinking water cartridges but they are different; they are referred to as 'Full Flow' because they have more than 4 x times the flow rate of our traditional cartridges. In addition to higher flow rates, they also have significantly more capacity so they are more economical to use.
Frequency of filter change:
When we are asked how long will a filter last, we have a funny answer: 'How long is a piece of string'? The life of a filter depends on your incoming water pressure, how much you use it and how dirty your water is. These three variables are unique to you.
Our water quality is changing all the time. Even if you have your water tested, that is just a snapshot on that particular day, so don't be surprised if the frequency of cartridge change fluctuates from one year to the next; this is normal. With a full flow cartridge we can safely say one year, but it could be two!
What matters most is knowing that regardless of the water quality going into the water filter, the quality coming out will always be the same. This is the promise that Everpure delivers on and that is why it is so important to only buy a water filter that is third party tested and certified by NSF. Without NSF, the manufacturer can make whatever claims they want.
All Everpure residential systems and cartridges include a Time strip filter monitor to remind you when eleven months have passed so the recommendation by Everpure is to change a filter annually. We recommend changing it when the flow rate becomes inconveniently slow. Remember to buy only genuine Everpure replacement cartridges to maintain your warranty.
